FHB Update from DE, 04/23/14

Temperatures have remained fairly cool, and with the exception of some mild showers last week, conditions have been fairly dry. Most if not all growers have applied their second application of Nitrogen. Wheat ranges from Feekes 5-7. Disease levels remain low, with very low levels of leaf blotch diseases present in some fields. The temperatures are expected to warm up over the weekend and there is a chance for some rain so expect a fair amount of plant growth and development.
