The risk maps for Fusarium head blight are functioning now normally after a short delay. Most wheat should be past the flowering stages that are most important for FHB infection. Some areas of North Dakota and Northern Minnesota may still have late spring wheat that is still vulnerable to the disease. The risk of disease in these states has been low this past week, but there are a few areas of moderate risk emerging in ND. Be sure to zoom in to ND for more specific commentary.
