Winter wheat is between hard dough and maturity. Several winter wheat fields scouted around the state developed significant FHB owing to the heavy rains experienced around the flowering time. Spring wheat is between flowering and milk growth stages and still at risk of FHB development. Currently the risk for FHB development is low except for spotty areas in the central and northeast.
