Position Description & Details: The Post-Doctoral researcher will be responsible for carrying out the experiments, analyzing results and data with appropriate statistical methods, and have the ability to write scientific reports and manuscripts for publication, and deliver presentations at scientific meetings and/or to other interested parties. The successful candidate should have demonstrated experience with one or several research areas such as the molecular mechanisms of secondary metabolite production by fungi, mycotoxin production inhibitors and their modes of action, malting and brewing process. The post-doctoral researcher is also expected to assist in training and supervising student researchers, manage lab facilities, and perform other duties as requested by the PI. The initial appointment is for two years, with an opportunity for renewal for a second year depending on productivity and performance and the availability of funding.
