The wheat crop in the U.S. should be past the critical growth stages when it is most vulnerable for infection by Fusarium head blight. The prediction models are scheduled to become inactive on August 3, 2012. This means that daily maps of disease risk will not be produced after this date. Maps for dates prior to August 3 will remain available to facilitate review of the 2012 season. The prediction models are scheduled to resume service during the spring of 2013.
